Converting Patients to Premium Services:

Converting patients to premium services such as custom LASIK and premium IOLs has dramatically increased in practices that use PEC’s LVC Counselor™ and IOL Counselor™ software.

During beta testing with the IOL Counselor, practices that were converting only 5% of their patients to premium IOLs increased to converting over 30% of their patients while practices that were already converting 20-30% of their patients increased their conversion rate to 50 – 75% of patients. During beta testing with the LVC Counselor, all practices were able to increase the number of patients saying “Yes” to LASIK by 10% or more. This was accomplished by showing patients dynamic, real-life scenarios and video programs that vividly explain the advantages offered by electing premium services over conventional LASIK and conventional monofocal IOLs.

Now, these same video-based programs can be utilized on the Internet and on your website to increase conversion and save your staff valuable time by educating patients about their options BEFORE they come into your practice. Simultaneously, using PEC’s Home-Ed emails and posting our conversion videos on your website will impress your patients and website visitors with your modern and high-tech communication techniques.  

This easy to implement program consists of two components: Home-Ed Emails & VideoSites™ flash based landing pages on your website.

Home-Ed Emails:

When a patient calls to schedule a cataract or laser vision screening, your staff can send them an attractive email specifically addressed to them with the subject: Your Upcoming Appointment at “Your Practice Name.” You can easily add the patient’s name to the email as well, “Dear Mrs. Smith.” The email text can be completely customized, but the basic message invites them to watch a video on laser vision correction or premium IOLs so they will better understand the treatment options you will be recommending while they are in your practice.

Clicking on the “Click to Watch Video” takes the patient to your website and the appropriate video will play for them automatically. Using emails to drive patients to your website makes the investment you have made in your website even more valuable. When the program is finished, the patient can continue to explore your website without the need to go to other websites for more information. 

VIDEOSITES™

PEC will create a VideoSite that allows you to post and show all the educational and marketing videos relative to your practice on your website. You may place links that automatically play the appropriate video on your LASIK webpage or Cataract webpage. You can also have links to a VideoSite that hosts any number of programs you might want available for viewing so the patient can select any program they want to view.

VIDEOSITES™ ICONS

Several VideoSites™ icons can also be added anywhere on your site. Clicking on the VideoSite icon would link to the page with your customized VideoSite™ Player.

Start Options

Once a visitor clicks on the VideoSites™ icon and arrives at the VideoSites™ Flash player page, there are several options you can choose from:

1. Any Program or video (including a personalized introduction) can immediately start to play in the video viewing screen.
   
   
2. Any still image you provide us can be placed in the video viewing screen.
   
   
3. You can choose from a number of "Beautiful Eyes" Flash files produced by Eyeland Design Network. (see below)
